Plotapoint.

Hello, and welcome to this website! It helps you to put a single coordinate on a map, as quickly as possible.

These might be useful:

  • to switch to long, lat mode
  • to swap the position of the coordinates.
  • to decrease the decimal precision of the coordinates.
  • to increase the decimal precision again — restoring the real digits if the point came from a map click or a paste, otherwise adding a zero.
  • to undo the last precision change, whichever direction it went.
  • to toggle a highlight of the area of coordinates that would be rounded to the current coordinate, with a red cross marking the exact point.
  • to toggle light/dark brightness.
  • to copy the current point's coordinate, unless you've manually selected some text.
  • Paste a coordinate (plain, JSON, GeoJSON, or WKT) anywhere to plot it.
  • The status bar below the search field lets you pick the format that Ctrl + C copies.
