Slowby.travel is a slow travel trip planning service for bicycle touring and hiking trips in and around Belgium. We provide customers with a tailor-made roadbook, GPX tracks and hand-picked points of interest along a multi-day trail that suits their interests.

We emphasize active relaxation and the discovery of little-known gems, as opposed to taking travellers to overcrowded tourism hotspots. At the moment, we are not taking new travel requests, and are instead focussing on the Slow Travel Pass collection that combines the best Slowby trips in one package.

I joined Slowby (the company) at a point where our trips were planned and sold mostly manually, with the expertise of my two co-founders, Dries & Manon, and a bunch of specialized tools. Since then, I have contributed to making these processes more efficient, by automating repetitive tasks, such as creating a self-service gift card ordering flow.
